Terms of Service
Effective date: September 16, 2026 · Website: onlory.com · Support: support@onlory.com
1About these Terms
These Terms govern access to and use of Onlory, including its website, accounts, transcription, document processing, AI-assisted analysis, storage, sharing, plans, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Questions about the Service, payments, or these Terms may be sent to support@onlory.com.
2Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Onlory. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms where required by applicable law. In some countries, including EEA countries, parental authorization may be required for certain processing until a higher age.
If you use Onlory for a company or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it and to submit content on its behalf.
3The Service
Onlory provides tools that may include:
- audio and video transcription and speaker separation
- document and image processing and text extraction
- AI-assisted summaries, notes, analysis, and answers
- search, storage, export, and sharing tools
- account, workspace, and collaboration features
Available features may depend on your plan, account type, location, or the current version of the Service. We may add, improve, change, or discontinue features as the Service develops.
4Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, protecting your login credentials, and activity through your account except where applicable law provides otherwise. Do not knowingly allow unauthorized access. Notify us at support@onlory.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
5Customer Content
“Customer Content” includes audio, video, documents, images, text, prompts, notes, and other materials submitted to Onlory. You retain ownership of your Customer Content. Onlory does not claim ownership of it.
By submitting Customer Content, you authorize Onlory and its service providers to process, copy, store, transmit, and transform it only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and provide the features you request, including transcription, extraction, summaries, analysis, search, display, and export.
6Content about other people
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to record, upload, and process information about other people. This includes complying with applicable privacy, recording, confidentiality, copyright, consent, and notification laws. The ability to upload content does not itself give you the legal right to record or process it.
7AI and automated processing
Onlory uses speech recognition, OCR, artificial intelligence, and other automated systems to generate transcripts, summaries, notes, classifications, extracted information, and answers. Results may contain errors, omissions, or incorrect interpretations.
You are responsible for reviewing important results. Do not rely solely on Onlory for health, safety, legal, employment, financial, or other decisions where an error could have significant consequences.
8Third-party services
Onlory uses service providers for infrastructure, storage, email delivery, authentication, transcription, and AI processing. Customer Content or related information may be sent to those providers only where necessary to deliver the requested functionality. Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
9Acceptable use
You must not use Onlory to:
- violate applicable law or another person’s rights
- record, monitor, upload, or process another person’s information unlawfully
- upload content you do not have the right to use
- distribute malware or attempt unauthorized access
- bypass payment, usage, technical, or security restrictions
- disrupt, overload, probe, or attack the Service
- impersonate another person or organization, commit fraud, or use the Service for unlawful activity
We may restrict processing or access where reasonably necessary to protect Onlory, its users, third parties, or the integrity of the Service.
10Plans and usage limits
Onlory may offer free and paid plans with limits for transcription minutes, file size or duration, storage, AI usage, processing capacity, users, or features. Current limits and prices are displayed before a plan or purchase is confirmed. Usage allowances have no cash value. Subscription allowances may expire at the end of the applicable period; separately purchased usage may have different terms shown at purchase.
11Prices, payments, and subscriptions
If paid checkout becomes available, the applicable price, billing period, taxes, and renewal terms will be displayed before purchase. Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. Onlory may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, amount, subscription status, and related billing information; full card details may be handled directly by the payment provider.
If automatic renewal is offered, you may cancel future renewal through the available account controls or by contacting support. Cancellation normally prevents future charges while access continues through the paid period, unless stated otherwise at purchase.
12Refunds and consumer rights
Payments are generally non-refundable after paid functionality has been provided or a subscription period has begun, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Contact support if a charge was duplicated, processed incorrectly, made by mistake, or the purchased Service was materially unavailable.
Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights, including cancellation or withdrawal rights that cannot legally be waived.
13Availability and beta features
We aim to keep Onlory operational but do not promise uninterrupted availability or a specific uptime unless separately agreed. Maintenance, updates, infrastructure or provider outages, network failures, security incidents, and software errors may affect availability.
Experimental or beta features may contain errors, change without notice, work differently from final features, or become unavailable. Do not rely on beta features for critical workflows.
14Intellectual property and feedback
The Service, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and technology, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant only a limited right to use the Service and do not transfer ownership of it. Customer Content remains owned by its applicable owner.
You may provide feedback voluntarily. We may use that feedback to improve the Service without payment or other obligation. Feedback does not transfer ownership of your Customer Content.
15Privacy
Personal data is processed according to the Privacy Policy. Browser storage and similar technologies are described in the Cookie Policy.
16Suspension, deletion, and termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary because of a Terms violation, suspected fraud, unlawful activity, a security risk, unauthorized access, abuse, payment failure, a legal requirement, or activity that may harm the Service or others.
You may stop using Onlory at any time and may request account deletion at support@onlory.com. Deletion does not automatically create a refund right. Data retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
We may terminate access for serious or repeated violations, legal requirements, abusive or fraudulent use, permanent discontinuation, or where continued provision becomes technically, legally, or operationally impossible.
17Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that every transcript or AI output will be accurate, every file will process successfully, the Service will meet every requirement, or operation will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
You are responsible for keeping copies of important source files and independently checking generated results where accuracy matters. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
18Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Onlory is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by reliance on inaccurate generated content, user error, failure to protect credentials, failures of independent third-party services, or use contrary to these Terms. Nothing excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law, and mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
19Changes
We may update the Service or these Terms because of product, security, legal, or operational changes. The current version will be published on onlory.com with its effective date. Additional notice will be provided where required by law or where a change materially affects an existing paid subscription.
20Disputes and contact
Please send complaints or disputes to support@onlory.com. We will attempt to resolve them in good faith. Users retain access to courts, regulators, and dispute-resolution mechanisms available under applicable law.
If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, applicable plan information, and terms shown at purchase form the agreement governing use of Onlory.
